[24k GOLD PLATED] Stèle of Ankh-af-na-khonsu
The Stele of Revealing [Stèle of Ankh-af-na-khonsu] is an Egyptian religious artifact dateing to circa 680/70 BCE, the period of the 26th dynasty. It is a wooden tablet overlaid with stucco and painted with mythological scenes and hieroglyphic writing. The Stele of Revealing is especially sacred to Thelemites because it is through this artifact that the Law of Thelema was revealed to Aleister Crowley in 1904 due to the Supreme Ritual – “The Invocation of Horus”.
In this version of Stèle of Ankh-af-na-khonsu is added 24k golden foil in some parts of the tablet and painted a complete Ra Hoor Khuit head with a colored nemes as we see it in Egyptian temples.
This Stele is originally handmade and specifically focuses on the details. Following the traditional Egyptian way by using a thick layer of stucco on a wooden tablet, painted with mineral colors (Natural Earth Pigments). The colors used don’t fade away through time and the whole process basically is really close to what the Egyptians did back then. It takes time and effort to finish it (Preparation Time 2 Weeks) since also the colors are handmade by the artist.
This process makes the tablet similar to the original one. Some extra coloring line details were added to enhance the appearance and the high quality of the Stele, making it a unique piece of Egyptian Art for your temple or ritual working place.
